The, so called, Home Sickness..

Well, most of the teens who travel away from home for study/project/job/any other reason, feel the same way initially. As days pass by they get used to it and make the new place their own place.

I have had one such experience, out of home for 30 days. This made me understand what it actually did to people.

Those first 30 days goes like this->

Day 0- -Bids good bye to home!

Day 1- -Travels with excitement about the new place

Day 2- -Reaches the place & get relaxed

Day 3- -Explores the  place and learns new things

Day 4 – -Enjoys independence & feels proud

Day 5- -Calls home, “Wish you were here to see all this’, in a happy tone

.

.

Day 10- – Everything becomes a routine. There is mess all around.

.

.

Day 15- – City becomes very familiar, nothing new/exciting

.

.

Day 20- -Food doesn’t taste good.Complaints all around.

.

.

Day 25- -Calls home, ‘Miss you mom, wanna meet you soon’, in a sad tone

.

.

Day 30- – Manages to get a holiday & rushes home to meet mom………..

Once at home, you get to tell her all that happened over the month(approx), she smiles and calls you a silly kid…The magic in her smile gives you the strength to manage the next 30days:-P

As time goes, you become stronger & self manageable;)(wink)
