Coming across someone who nod with a ‘yes’ is a rare scene I’ve come across. I often find people debating on noncontroversial topics .I guess so is the case elsewhere too. I tend to laugh at those utters. People look at me strange and ask ‘What’s there to laugh?’ This question tickles more laughter that may cause people to turn biter on me, so I become quiet.
Debating, as I knew was a good aspect, until I watched those scenes were debates turn to disputes. When I said this to my friend, she asked, ‘Should we nod to all what others say?’, that’s something she calls it stupidity. I replied, ‘It’s not so, but we should give it a thought’.
No one speaks something that seem senseless to them. So do we. I say even if you want to disagree, do it in an agreeable manner. By discussing, both sides can justify their points. We get to know a new angle to approach things. We can add lines to our knowledge. By arguing, we can only develop a rival and gain nothing.
Discuss, do not argue!
